I could not disagree more with the rule. Pro Bowlers are consistent regardless of whether or not they are wearing a wrist brace. That is the reason they are pro bowlers. They are not winning due to having wrist braces. I also disagree about wrist braces being "training devices." Are knee braces also "training devices?" How about tape? What about finger and thumb inserts?

This sounds like the perfect time to convert these centers to candlepin bowling. It's the only form of bowling that leaves the pins on the deck. So definitely strings will never ever be used.

wow! that helps a ton man! I always squeezed my ball because it was going to come out on my back swing. I never knew the thumb hole had to be THAT tight. that makes a lot of sense now.

I know a really good bowler in pba regional. Tremendous talent but he's a mental midget. Way too emotional. Throws stuff, kicks stuff and melts down. If you wanna win in any sport you can't do that. Gotta be calm and cool bro. Better learn it.

IMHO Cody needs a new mental game if what he said he really thinks. He never gets any breaks, and everyone else does. Automatically that puts you in a bad frame of mind the whole day.

Thanks JR. Once I got use to the feeling of flexing the thumb the other way it gave me a much more consistent release without hanging up.

Seems like there are alot of variables that would make getting an accurate rev rate a difficult task. It would seem to me that rev rates are always changing based on things such as what ball you are using and the lane conditions, which are always changing as you bowl more and more games. There are other factors as well. It is hard for me to grasp how anyone could actually know their rev rate when it is probably something that is not consistent.
